My view on the Columbine situation:

This in any measure can be scaled as a great tragedy. First and foremost my heart and prayers go out to all who have in some way, shape, or form experienced this tragedy first hand. I cannot even begin to imagine the trauma that is and has been experienced due to this unfortunate circumstance. There are many facts that are unclear following this incident, therefore to comment on anything that was or is mentioned by reporters or radio broadcasters would be unfair to all parties. I can tell you however that what happened at Columbine is and will always cause some sort of speculation and the motive will always be questioned. In order to get the full impact of what has happened here, we need not to look upon this as an isolated incident, but a mere act in a play. What I am trying to say and relate is that this was not the work of only students and people, but spirits and the principalities that be.

In no way am I trying to downgrade what happen or take away from those that have suffered from this, but this was one battle that had and underlying theme, "Good against evil!" The kids that were to blame for this incident were acting of their own free will, but who was behind them is still to question. If these same kids were raised in a Christian environment and not shunned by society, I think that they would have not committed such a violent act against humanity and against God. Some say and try to place blame on many reasons, because lets face it, "In order for their to be a motive, there needs to be a scapegoat." (Someone who is ultimately responsible for this heinous act.) Someone will look to place the blame on society, others the parents, others the school, others on the two individual themselves. To be quite frank, we have all failed in one area or the other. Like I mentioned earlier, and to get a better perspective, I think we would need to look at Ephesians 6:11-12, "This is not a battle between just flesh and blood, but against higher powers."

I know that there are some out there that will disagree and I am not trying to get into a heated debate. I am truly heartbroken that such an incident like this one could ever happen. As mentioned earlier, my heart and prayers go out to all of those who have felt some trauma from this unfortunate turn of events. I know that there is a lot of hatred, confusion, pain, suffering, eagerness, and many other emotions and feelings that are surrounding the individuals still alive. These are natural reactions to this type of action, I just hope that the Lord can and will minister to you and heal your wounds. Even after the wounds heal, there will probably still be scars, but remember that by Jesus stripes you are healed. Let us go forth in hopes that we have learned something from this, personally, and as a race, a human race. We need to take the time and look at this tragedy from different angles. I think that if we go forth and fully rely on God to handle us and keep us through the aftermath, we will come away from this with a true understanding. We will look through the eyes of Christ and from that aspect take the necessary actions and make the necessary decisions, which must be made.

It is so easy to lose our focus in a time like this, but we need to remember that Christ sees things in a different light. He was sent to die for the world, those who have passed as a result of this, those who are still alive, and for those who participated in this act of violence. My words do no justice and any action will not be able to cure this ill that is so ever present. However, the Lord who can work through me and minister to those in need and speak to those who are heart broken. I want each one of you to know that I love you as Jesus loved His people. I will in some way attempt to be used to help those in need. Once again, my heart and prayers are with all involved in this tragedy and I can only hope that tomorrow will bring the Lord and all of his comforting abilities to your life and the lives of others. To those who have taken the time to read this, once again these are my views and opinion on this topic.
